As a designer and illustrator at the University of Maryland's Department of Libraries, one of my pet projects was The Official UMD Libraries' Procrastination Pamphlet. A print booklet I pitched as a tongue-in-cheek activity pack, the Pamphlet was designed to give students an excuse to take a break during stressful exam times. Students loved the Pamphlet, and many praised the University's willingness to make fun of itself.
With approval from my supervisors, I authored the content, assembled the activities, and illustrated the Pamphlets, then even helped to distribute them to groups of students studying.
